Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Application Problems

Help Us Improve the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Application

What problems did you encounter with the PUA application?

On Friday, April 17, 2020, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry launched its application for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance to provide unemployment benefits to individuals who do not qualify for Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation.  However, the application and website have had technical glitches and many individuals are having trouble filing their application or providing the requested information and documentation.  Some workers have also found the questions or instructions confusing.

If you are looking for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance application, you can find it here.

Philadelphia Legal Assistance is working with the Department of Labor and Industry to improve the application.  If you have used the application and experienced issues, please fill out the form below so we can help identify what needs to be fixed in the system.  We are not asking for any personally identifiable information in these forms.  We will use your responses to get changes made to the PUA application and online portal.

Please help us understand what changes are needed on the application by answering a few questions here.
