Custody and Support Assistance Clinic (CASAC)

Operated by students of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and supervised by PLA's Family Law Unit, the Custody and Support Assistance Clinic (CASAC) assists low income Philadelphians with child custody, child support, and domestic violence legal issues.  Student advocates work one-on-one with clients to prepare legal documents and provide advice for court appearances.

Philadelphia Family Court Is Moving!

Domestic Relations at 34 S. 11th Street will be Closed starting on Friday, November 7, 2014.  It will reopen Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1501 Arch Street.

Beginning November 17, all services will be open during regular hours: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

You can do some things while the court is closed.

Protection From Abuse Orders (PFA)

PLA Holiday Hours, 2014-2015

If you need help with bankruptcy, public benefits matters, unemployment compensation, and other miscellaneous legal problems (estates, guardianships, name changes, certain consumer cases), please note that PLA's General Intake Unit will be closed from December 24, 2014, to January 2, 2015.  Walk-in Intake will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2015, and telephone intake will reopen on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.
